Shipping: We ship primarily through UPS and DHL for express shipments. UPS shipments are based on total weight and is rounded up to the next nearest pound. The checkout will estimate the weight based on purchase and calculate shipping based on total weight for shipments within the continental United States. Please contact us at customerservice@backcountrygps.com for information on Hawaii, Alaska and international shipping rates. Our goal is to ship orders within two business days of receiving the order. We ship packages to the address typed in on the order, so be sure that the information entered is accurate. International Shipping – Please contact us for international shipping rates. Important: The customer is responsible for paying all taxes, fees, and import duties upon receipt of the shipment. Refusing the shipment will result in the customer being charged for all shipping charges and fees, including return shipping fees. Shipping to an address that different from your billing address may delay your order as we work to verify the shipping address. The billing phone number must match what is on file with your credit card company. This protects you as well as us. We reserve the right to cancel any order for which we cannot properly verify the credit card information. We only ship to physical addresses. No P.O. Boxes. We reserve the right to use alternate shipping companies, including Federal Express, DHL, and the US Postal Service. Most items are shipped within two business days. We cannot guarantee that a package will arrive on time. This is solely the responsibility of the carrier and can be impacted by things such as weather, strikes, natural disasters. If your shipment does not arrive when it is supposed to, please remember this is out of our control. If a package is refused or non-deliverable, for any reason, the customer will be charged for the shipping fee, plus any applicable return shipping fees. Policies / Notes: For security and protection the following shipping policies apply to orders shipped inside the US. We cannot specify for UPS to leave a box at your house if you are not home. It is up to the driver's discretion. We ask that you leave a note for the UPS driver if you will not be home when your shipment arrives. All Packages shipped via UPS, DHL, FedEx or USPS are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the specific carrier used. We only sell new equipment (except when expressly marked as refurbished), and all warranty work will be done by the manufacturer. Back Orders. Back Country GPS will usually notify you by email within 48 hours if an item is out of stock. If you don’t want to wait, you may cancel your order and receive a prompt refund by using the contact us page, calling our customer service number, (303) 662-0656 or by emailing us at: lonetreetrading@comcast.net. If we do not hear from you before we ship the merchandise to you, we will assume that you have agreed to this shipment delay. Remember, if you want the merchandise, don’t call. We will ship the backordered item as soon as it becomes available. If we are unable to ship the merchandise within 30 days or less, we will cancel your order, and you will receive a prompt refund. |
